A jumpboard cardio sculpt class is a high-energy Pilates workout performed on a Pilates Reformer fitted with a jumpboard (a padded platform at the end).

It combines low-impact “jumping” movements (lying on your back and pushing off the board) with strength training and core work.

Think of it as cardio + resistance training + core sculpting, all without the joint stress of traditional jumping.


What to Expect

  • Movements mimic jumping, running, or plyometrics—but horizontally
  • A mix between jumping rope and leg press, but smoother and easier on your knees
  • Core Engagement the Entire Time
  • Low Impact, High Intensity
  • Usually beginner–intermediate friendly, but can feel intense
  • Easier to follow than advanced reformer classes
  • Good entry point if you want cardio without high impact
